Martinsville, Va. - The Emory Oxford men's basketball team played Camp Community College in the first round of the NJCAA Region 10/17 Tournament and lost 73-68.

Camp jumped out to a 9-0 lead before the Eagles climbed back to tie the game after two three-pointers by first-years Nick Yatros and Sam Chin and a layup and free throw made by first-year Ved Desai.

The Eagles came within three points with a minute left in the game after Desai made a three-pointer. Camp made four free throws at the end of the game to secure the win.

Desai led Emory Oxford with 21 points. He also had 13 rebounds. Chin had 15 points, while first-years Jason Kim and Leo Etah added 11 and 10 points.
